Still just a little tyke.

Hey everyone, thought I'd let you know how my two month doctor visit went the other day.

It was pretty cool. The doctor came in and examined me. He said I'm doing really well. My heart sounds good. He says I'm really strong for my age and size. (I guess that Gold's Gym membership is paying off.) Then, just when I thought things were getting wrapped up, this lady came in and started poking me with needles. What was that all about? I cried for a little bit, but I calmed down pretty quickly. I guess I'm pretty used to being poked and prodded by nurses.

So, anyway, here are the vital stats:

Weight: 10 lb 12 oz.
Length: 22-1/2 inches
Vaccinations: 5

I'm more or less in the 10th percentile for length and weight. Just like my dad when he was my age.

We also got some good news that there will be room for me at the YWCA day care starting the middle of April. My mom says it's the best day care around. Plus it's only a few blocks away from where my mom and dad work, so they can come visit me really easily. I kinda wish I could just hang out with mom all day. But, I guess getting toys, and food, and money to go to college won't be too shabby either.

Well, I gotta get back to watching my mobile. It's pretty much my favorite thing to do these days. I especially like the monkey. Probably because he looks like my dad.

March Madness

This weekend I hung out with my mom and dad and watched a ton of NCAA baskeball. Here I am cheering for my mom's UCLA Bruins after they won their second round game against Indiana.

I even entered the NCAA bracket pool at my dad's work. I'm only doing OK--I picked 11 of the Sweet 16 teams--but that's mostly because my dad gave me some bad info. At least all my Final Four teams are still alive, so I have a chance.

Carly in the house.

Last week my aunt Carly came up to see me from The O.C. We had lots of fun, chillin, hangin', and shoppin'. We even went out to lunch at a semi-fancy restaurant (Trio). It was pretty much the coolest week I've had so far.

I've been slacking on my blogging lately. So, to make up for it, here are a new set of Colin pics: http://picasaweb.google.com/colin.m.griffin/February07Pictures

Keep checking back. I'll try to get something up by every Monday morning.

My Buddy Jack

Last week my mom and dad took me up to University Hospital to meet my new friend Jack. He was born on 2/15, exactly one month after me. But, even though I'm a month older, I'm not much bigger. That's OK though. Here I think I'm trying to give him some pointers on the best ways to wake up mom and dad in the middle of the night. Don't know if he was really interested though. He's not as big of a trouble maker as I am.

Happy Valentine's Day!

As the newly annointed "King of Hearts" I thought I'd wish all my family, friends, and fans a happy Valentine's Day.

Frustration sets in.

Hey everyone! I've been trying to update my blog with some videos of me hanging out, but my dad's computer is so LAME! It's driving me nuts!

Other than that, I'm doing great. Though, last evening something wasn't sitting right in my belly and I threw up so much it came out my nose. But, I've just been doing my normal little spit-ups since then, so I've been fine. At least it cleared out my sinuses. (And luckily mom and dad bought a couch with a machine-washable slip-cover.)

Anyway, I hope I can get this video thing straightened out. These pictures are cool, but I'm sure some of you would like to see me in action.

See you later!

Just Hangin' this Weekend

My first weekend home has been a great one. I got a sponge bath from mom and dad. Then my Grandma and Grandpa Griffin came over with my aunts Megan and Kate. They all finally got Kate to hold me. She was pretty nervous but she did a great job.

On Sunday I got to meet my great aunt Mary Kay, who made me a really cool quilt. Then my Great Grandma Griffin came over to see me.

Check out these pictures of all the weekend festivities:
