Touchdown!

OK, I'm logged on and I thought I'd give you a quick recap of the events of the last few weeks.

Saturday, I went with mom and dad to the Utah vs. Weber State football game. It was tons o' fun. Grandma and Grandpa Griffin were there and I had a great time with them. I mostly liked to make noise by banging on the seats, clap with the crowd, and point to the guys wearing "helmets." I also yelled a few "Go Utes!" here and there. Just before halftime I kind of had my fill of the excitement--it was past my bedtime--and let everyone know I was "all done." But it was a great time. I was still talking about the "game" today. Oh, and Utah won 37-21, and are now #15 in the polls.

Two weekends ago, I went to the zoo again. This time with my friends Juliet and Kenzo. Here is a picture of me and Juliet riding in the wagon, and Kenzo hanging out in the stroller. Usually I just like to push the wagon myself, but since Juliet was offering to ride with me, well, I couldn't pass that up.

After awhile, we all wanted to try walking together holding hands in a row. But that didn't last long. Why walk when you can ride in a sweet wagon?

I also got to play on the playground. They have a cool little tunnel that's fun to climb through.

It's September Already?!

Once again, it's been awhile since I posted. Sorry about that. With more than a month between posts, obviously a lot has happened. But I can't really remember it all. So I'll start with the activity this past weekend.

I met a bunch of my friends up at Silver Lake near Brighton on Sunday. It was fun. We all took a walk around the lake. I saw some ducks, some fish, a squirrel, and a few other critters that were running around.

Also, going back through the photos of the past month, here are a couple from the day I went to the zoo. A lot of people like to see the monkeys, or the tigers, or the elephants. And those things are cool. But my biggest thrills are the train and the carousel. I can't get enough!

Beach in a Box

Enough about my brother to be. Let's talk about my favorite new toy. Mom and dad got me a sand and water table last weekend. It's pretty cool. I get to splash my hands in the water, and dig in the sand. Dad was trying to show me how to make sand castles. But mostly I liked to I dump sand all over myself, so dad would hose off my feet. Anyway, if you're into sand and water, but don't live on the coast, I recommend it.

Belly Video

Just for those interested, here's a video of the ultrasound of my brother to be. He seems pretty cool so far.

(Note: The video is sped up 3x, so take that into account when you're trying to gauge his heartrate.)

O' Brother!

So, I've been sick the last couple of days with a fever of 103+. My mom took me to the doctor this morning and they said I had a double ear infection and a sinus infection.

Then, Grandpa Griffin came over later in the afternoon and watched me when my mom and dad went somewhere. We watched "The Jerk" which I found pretty funny. Then I mostly just slept.

When mom and dad got back, they showed me this picture. I think they said it was my brother. But I do have those ear infections, so maybe my hearing isn't that good.

From what little I know about the English language, I think brother means someone who is going to live in my house and take attention and toys away from me. So, I'm not too thrilled about this. But, again, hopefully I just heard wrong.

They also showed me this picture, which I thought was bizarre.

June Stuff

Hi all,

Once again, my dad has been slacking on his duties, helping me write a blog entry. And to think I created two great masterpieces for him for Father's Day:

This first one is pudding on wax paper titled (as you can see) Pudding for Pop!
I created this one at school. This one was a collaborative effort with my aunts Megan and Kate, and my Grandma Griffin.
It's crayon and marker on copy paper and it's titled "Have a Colorful Monkey Father's Day"

Also for Father's Day we had a BBQ at my aunt Megan's house. The picture above is me playing football in the backyard. The whole family was there, even my great aunts Barb and Wendy showed up from Portland. It was fun.

Another event was bittersweet. Last week we had a farewell party for my frield William and his family. They're moving to California. It was at my friend Juliet's house.

Here's Will, his little brother Harrison, and his Mom and Dad.

This is me giving Will a goodbye hug.
Hopefully we'll be able to see them next time we go to California.

And that's the main news for June. Hopefully dad will help me post again soon.

Say Uncle!

Posted by Picasa

My uncle Bryan was in town last week. He just graduated from officer's school for the U.S. Navy. So we were really proud of him.

We got to hang out quite a bit and that was lots of fun. He's really good at hiding behind things and jumping out at me, which I found hilarious. It must be the stealth skills from the Navy.

I also got to see my grandpa Martinez for the first time in awhile. He's always good for some laughs. He gave me a cool lunchbox, too.
